Wrote the variation but spoiler thing wasn't working. And the Johnny ending which I think has some alteration based on the percentage, shows how much V has changed and influenced Johnny while V chose to try to survive in Cyberspace as an A.I, abandoning everyone in order to live.Įdit: Percentage seems to alter the dialogue and actions in the Mikoshi scene, with Alt, Johnny and V.Įach ending has variations, rep with johnny 70% and below has some variations in that scene also. While the suicide ending is her/him coming to terms with the situation and not wishing to bring and cause more death and destruction. While the Arasaka ending is a broken V that lost everything, even what made her/him V that has only their bitterness and anger to fuel them and their desire to live. Doing the Aldocaldo ending is the V that abandons the chase and dream of being a Legend, choosing her love, her friends and her new family, her/his freedom and embracing life fully. Since each Ending V is literally a different person in a sense.Įdit adding more thoughts: Doing the ending with Rogue, or the indecisive one, leads to V embracing the life of being a Legend, and being more distant relation wise with thos she/he's friends and lovers with. Each ending showing different changes in V. Everything about the ending is about change both about the World around you and V's self. Or risk getting trapped within the city once more. Leaving NC is more about beginning a new as his new self, and staying as far away from NC. The section with Alt becomes more involved between the two showing just how much, even when separated they are still a part of each other. Because the way Judy acts is just really hard to take, if your female V and let her in.Īnd no I really doubt he would do the sex change, he's not Johnny anymore, has his memories and parts of V are still part of him. Though I hated that ending because he doesn't even bother to inform the people that V cared about, or did but in a shit way. I don't know if there's differences based on the percentage, but the Johnny ending showed that he changed so much, that it didn't feel like he was Johnny anymore. At least him going off on his own at the end, and if you're a female V getting a sex-change, makes more sense this way. To me I wondered why he was leaving, other than so much around him, including the reflection in the mirror reminded him of what happened. I think if he does take the bus out of town, he's running away from the collapse of his own ideology. He can't stand that he is doing it, and he's not sly enough to be lying about it the whole game to trick V. Eventually when V tells Vik what she felt you do realize that yeah, he would be angry (especially later when you learn about Alt), you realize that he was, but I think the studio could have written something more in for that scene to help you realize what he was feeling, and to not necessarily make you grin at finally seeing Keanu come into view. The flashback to where we first meet Silverhand, it was hard to get his anger and hate about the entire situation yet. This was what I had a hard time getting at first. Honestly the guy fucking hates everything so much.
